Core member, Susanna Harris is an interdisciplinary artist who works in print media and installation. Since the artist completed a MFA at Kent State she has been challenging the conventional application of print media! Her exhibit includes handmade paper, lighting, marbling, embossed papers and installation.

She uses her own personal and collective experiences with loss, disease and grief to explore the interconnectedness of ecological destruction, human fragility and resilience.

Comments from Susanna:
“Each piece of paper was handmade by me. Some pieces are hand cut, and some are formed pulp. They resemble brown plastic bags, and I’m excited to explore this new direction! I can’t wait to work with it in the future to see what changes.”
Studio support for this project was provided by the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation.

The Wehrle Gallery is on the campus of Ohio Dominican University, 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus OH 43219.
