Phoenix Rising offers a variety of options for artists & printmakers to join or participate in the cooperative. We also offer hourly/daily rates for printing at our facility for non-members. We invite you to schedule a tour of the studio and learn more about our facility and our cooperative.

Membership Types

Core Membership

For experienced printmakers interested in full access to our facilities: Interested artists are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings where the business of the cooperative, upcoming workshops, exhibits and events are discussed and managed. A one year commitment is required. Membership renewed yearly.
Cost: $75 per month ($900. per year)

Benefits: Core Membership

Use of facility when workshops are not in session
Participation in member exhibits and yearly sale
Exposure to visiting artists at workshops and demonstrations
Access to shared shop materials and other supplies available at cost
Participation in management of cooperative

Associate Membership

For artists interested in limited participation and occasional use of the facilities at Phoenix Rising: Membership renewed yearly.
Cost: $100 per year.

Benefits: Associate Member

Two days of printing at Phoenix (limit: 6 hours per day) or one free workshop (value not to exceed $95.)
Discounted studio use fees apply after initial 2 free days (12 hours), Daily rate: $50, Hourly rate $10
10-percent off any additional workshops
Invitations to participate in select member exhibitions and sales
Receive all Phoenix mailings, newsletters and show announcements

Non-member Printing Fees

Non-members must schedule printing time in advance and hours are subject to shop monitor availability.
Daily Rate (limit: 6 hours per day): $100. Hourly Rate: $20.

A minimum of 72 hours notice is required when scheduling studio time.

Student and Recent Graduate Membership Opportunities

This is a great opportunity for printmaking students! A reduced rate, short term Student Membership is available for those with an interest in

Printing during the summer months
Completing a specific printing project
Preparing a print portfolio for graduate school enrollment
Continuing your printmaking practice after graduation
Learning more about the cooperative & considering future membership

This membership fee is $150 for 12 consecutive weeks.

Upper level undergraduate, recent graduate or graduate student
Current CV or resume
Informal portfolio review with two current Core Members

Student Internship and Student Volunteer Opportunities

Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative offers students from local universities both unpaid Internship and Volunteer Opportunities.

Our internship benefits include
