“In printmaking, an artist’s proof is a print created in the early stages of the printmaking process to evaluate what the image will look like on paper before creating the final edition. This exhibition is a showcase of work created from the beginning of my printmaking career in early 2020 to the present day. The works were chosen to highlight my evolution as a printmaker working in linocut, woodcut, and mokuhanga, much like what an artist’s proof does in relation to the final print.”
