Artist Talk by Rodger Wilson

Rodger Wilson graduated from OSU with a BFA in Printmaking (Lithography major) and returned for a MA in Art Education with a focus on children’s picture book illustration. He has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for most of his career. Recently he joined Igloo Letterpress and continues to work as a designer and printer. Rodger will discuss a few of his picture books and then focus on imagery for letterpress and the process of creating files, film and polymer plates to facilitate printing solids and halftones on a Vandercook letterpress. Allison Chapman, proprietor of Igloo Letterpress, will join Rodger later in the conversation to talk about letterpress in Columbus.

This event is free and open to the public.
