Why a Fundraiser?

Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative opened its doors in 1998 in a storefront on Parsons Avenue. It has provided a well-equipped studio facility for both the experienced and beginner printmaker. We are dedicated to enriching the visual arts experience of Columbus and the surrounding area through education and exploration of the printmaking media.

Artists, students, schools, art groups and the community at large have been welcomed to our printmaking classes, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, and outreach programs. Our current aim is to expand by moving to a larger studio space where we can increase our printmaking capabilities and offer more art opportunities for a growing circle of participants. We are ready to go forward!

Phoenix Rising applied for and received non-profit tax exempt status in 2010.  We are eager to start the next step in our growth.  Art Under Pressure is our first fundraising event as a 501(c)(3) organization and we hope you will come, have fun and contribute to the  success.
