Biography

Rod Bouc is an artist who paints, draws, and does monotypes. He has an MFA from OSU and a BFA from the University of Nebraska. Mr. Bouc has also been an arts administrator for over 32 years. Several years ago he needed to make art with fresh eyes and decided to take a monotype workshop at Phoenix Rising.

When he was asked to join the board, he enthusiastically accepted. He said, “I could see that it was an organization I wanted to support and help continue the partnerships that were established with the Museum”. Phoenix is one of those gems of the city that makes Columbus a wonderful place to live. He was immediately impressed by the nurturing environment and professionalism of the Phoenix members.
