Welcome New Board Members!

Eliza Ho, Nadine Pennypacker, and Miranda Rife join Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative board alongside current board member, Rod Bouc.

Columbus, Ohio, May 18, 2024: After a month-long search and interview process, Eliza Ho, Nadine Pennypacker, and Miranda Rife officially joined the Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative board on May 3, 2024.

Eliza Ho holds an M.A. in History of Art from OSU, is a founding principal of Tim Lai ArchitecT and is a Columbus Art Commissioner. Ho was a research associate at the Wexner Center for the Arts and served on the board of the Ohio Art League.

Nadine Pennypacker has previously worked at the Art Institute of Chicago, The Contemporary Austin, and the Wexner Center for the Arts overseeing finances, donations, memberships, and communications. Currently, she is the founder of her own business, Pennypacker Appraisals and Art Advisory.

Miranda Rife is a recent graduate of Capital University Law School working towards completing the bar exam. She has a M.A. in Arts Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University, and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Multimedia Arts from the University of Findley. She has worked at the Gahanna Arts Council as a policy advisor and has had previous experience sitting on the board for the Ohio Art League.

These individuals join existing board member, Rod Bouc, an artist who paints using pigment sticks, draws with charcoal and pastel, and does monotypes. He has an Masters Fine Arts degree from The Ohio State University and a Bachelors in Fine Arts, in Education degree from the University of Nebraska. Mr. Bouc has also been an arts administrator in varius capacities for over 43 years. FIfteen years ago he became the Deputy Executive Director of Operations at the Columbus Museum of Art. Several years ago he needed to make art with fresh eyes and decided to take a monotype workshop at Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative.

Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative is a completely volunteer-based 501(c)3 organization co-founded by Anne Cushman and Claire Hagan in 1996 out of a shared enthusiasm for the fine art of printmaking. Phoenix Rising serves printmakers and art enthusiasts alike by providing a well-equipped studio, knowledgeable experts, as well as many learning opportunities for those new to printmaking. The studio is located in the Discovery District near downtown Columbus.
