The Wex “Grid Party” Collaboration

We were delighted to be invited to create a printmaking experience for guests during the Wexner Center for the Arts “Grid Party” the evening of May 9, 2023! The Wex welcomed approximately 300 patrons, supporters and members to connect, meet Executive Director, Gaëtane Verna, print a custom totebag and celebrate the arts! We enjoyed working with the enthusiastic Development Events Coordinator, Kristina Skarupa. We were honored that our cooperative’s logo was included on the bag design to commemorate our collaboration!

The Wex selected artwork by Anna Tsouhlarakis for the totebag swag. Anna’s exhibition, The Native Guide Project: Columbus, is currently on view through July 9, 2023 at the Wex and around town. It was our responsibility to print logos on one side of the bag and prepare screen printing stations on-site so guest could print Tsouhlarakis’ art on the blank side.

The Grid Party was fun and the weather was perfect. Our members did a great job coaching guests of all ages to successfully screen print the artwork on the bag and heat set the design. Guests were very excited to print, appreciative of our guidance and proud of their final product. The totebags were indeed a hot item!
