We welcome storyteller and illustrator, Evangelia Philippidis, to our studio for an Artist Talk on Sunday, October 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
Learn about her inspiration, favorite story themes and her creative process Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

Join us for a Advanced Relief Workshop on Saturday, October 28 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with guest instructor, Nick Arnold of Blue House Gallery, Dayton Ohio.
Take your relief prints in a new direction using unusual tools to “carve” the wooden plate (for example: electric dremmels). You will have the opportunity to use a variety of tools in addition to traditional wood carving tools and then ink & print your plate.

Guest Instructor Nick Arnold will lead this large-scale, relief printing workshop, using wood and a variety of non-traditional carving tools, such as dremels and jigsaws to create a variety of marks and compositions. Artists will have the option of working on a rectangular matrix or using the jigsaw to create a shaped- plate matrix. There will be an emphasis on monoprinting to get a variety of compositions- something that Nick often utilizes in his own practice. Artists will also have the option of printing editions.
