Get your Passport Stamped at Our Studio!
Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative is one of the stops on the Columbus Makes Art Passport tour! The Greater Columbus Arts Council has created an arts passport program to encourage people to “tour” arts, cultural and entertainment events in Columbus September 1 through October 31.
The Columbus Makes Art Passport is a free booklet listing 60+ arts experiences (aka stops) where “tourists” can get a “stamp” on their passport in the form of artist-designed stickers. More information can be found online at ColumbusMakesArt.com/passport.
Phoenix Rising has scheduled six Passport Open House dates. Stop in and watch our printmakers at work, enjoy a demonstration and view an informative gallery display! Get your passport stamped and receive one free mini-print (while supplies last).
We look forward to welcoming you to our studio on the following dates:
- Wednesday, September 7 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Saturday, September 17 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Saturday, September 24 from 1:30 to 4:30 PM
- Wednesday, October 5 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Saturday, October 8 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Saturday, October 22 from 1:30 to 4:30 PM
Passport holders will be able to redeem their stickered passports online for prizes such as signed artist prints, tickets to events, restaurant gift cards, even a one-night stay at hotels, etc.
The Arts Council is paying for all costs associated with the program—from passport design, printing and marketing to paying artists for the right to use their artwork on stickers to use as passport “stamps.”
