Capital University Students at our Studio

Capital University Printmaking students visited our studio and created solar plates (etching plates) under the instruction of core member, Anne Cushman, the class developed their plates and printed proofs.  A good time was had by all.

I felt like today was a milestone in quality art making for the Capital University art program. I am very thankful to you and to Anne for making today happen. We at Capital are so fortunate to have you and your talents in our midst.”
Jeffrey Shaw, Professor of Art at Capital University

“Our students loved their visit to Phoenix. We had 13 students! They all developed and printed a proof of their plate, they also cleaned up and helped pick up! All in 3 hours!  I couldn’t be more proud of my wonderful perfect students! They did a great job on their solar plates!!!”
Eliana Calle-Saari, Adjunct Art Faculty at Capital University and Core Member with Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative
