Members Attend MAPC conference in Detroit

Six of our members traveled to Detroit at the end of September to attend the Mid-America Print Council (MAPC) conference. The campus of Wayne State University was the location of many of the workshops, exhibitions and lectures. Members Eliana Saari, Anne Cushman, Joan Tallan, Mary Woodworth, Cindy Davis and Judith Steele (shown below) attended a variety of workshops on various printmaking techniques with the mission of sharing their experiences with the entire cooperative membership. Cindy and Joan participated in a print portfolio exchange. Mary presented a portfolio of her work during one of the open portfolio sessions. We would like to acknowledge the financial support provided through a BOOST grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC), which funded our conference registration fees.
