Watercolor Monoprint Workshop
This class provides an easy way to transform a favorite photo into an original work of art. This simple method is ideal for first-time printers. Bring an 8-1/2″ x 11″ color image that we will place under a plexiglass plate. After tracing a few outlines with a crayon, you simply fill in areas with watercolor, and then print the plate on our press. The vibrant colors and lacy white lines of your print may have a different character from your original image, but it’s easy to capture the charm of a summer moment in a print you will enjoy making. The result is an exciting new piece, not a copy of your photo. Great class for teens and/or adults.
