Jennie Hanzlik, Craig Kehl and Jeremy Gates proudly display their successful single and two color relief prints created during the 3 session relief printmaking workshop held in July.

“The instruction for this class was great, and I liked how we learned from each other’s successes and challenges. We received many tips and tricks for creating a successful print. We also had many changes to tweak our designs or try things a new way to see how it affected our finished project. It was a great learning experience!”

We got to practice the carving techniques on linoleum block plates in the first class and apply them in the other classes.

“I enjoyed the experience of learning to prepare art for a printing press, of being given exposure to previously unknown techniques and tools, and of being given the opportunity to mix and roll inks, and ultimately, to operate the press.”
