Artist Statement:
My work is a record of current events that grab my heart. I cheer for the women in the Mideast countries who have the courage to protest for their rights in the public squares. My heart breaks for the soldiers who give their lives to fight wars, and for the parents who bury them. I get angry at corporations that allow oil to pollute our waters and kill birds, fish, plants and people. The horrors we perpetuate go on and on, I try to draw attention to them.
