“I once read that creativity needs space and alone time, and my time in Dresden offered both. It gave me the chance to truly listen to my own thoughts, to slow down, and to fully appreciate the world around me—a priceless experience. I cherished the quiet moments alone as much as those in the studio, where, though not alone, I was surrounded by fellow artists and master printers. Together, we shared a love for art-making, a quiet space filled with the energy of people passionate about their work.
Dresden is a beautiful City, full of history. I felt privileged to walk streets that once witnessed immense sorrow but now stand as a testament to resilience, hope, and joy—themes that not only inspire my work but now resonate deeply in my life.”
