A few words about the Tipping Point installation from Susanna Harris:

“ I use the materiality of paper altered through hand cutting, deeply embossing, and inking to create organic forms with color altered shadows. Paper is important in my work as it is able to represent strength as well as fragility. Each print is stacked together fluorescing onto the layer behind it which reflects an ominously unnatural glow. The glowing elements in my work present both a looming presence as well as hope inspired by coral’s use of fluorescence in a last ditch effort to survive before bleaching occurs.“
